Transparent and fair affiliate commission payment guidelines
This page outlines how affiliate commissions are calculated, approved, and paid at Mariam's Collection.
Who Is Eligible for the Affiliate Program
Affiliates who are approved and actively promoting Mariam's Collection through valid affiliate links are eligible to earn commissions,
subject to the terms outlined below.
Commission Calculation
- Commissions are earned on successfully completed orders placed through your affiliate link.
- Only paid and fulfilled orders are eligible for commission.
- Orders that are cancelled, refunded, or returned will not generate commission.
This ensures a fair and sustainable partnership for both parties.
Commission Period
Affiliate commissions are calculated based on orders from the previous calendar month, covering the period from the
1st day of the month through the last day of that month.
Commission Review & Approval
All commissions are subject to review after the return and refund window closes.
This process allows us to:
- Verify completed orders
- Exclude cancelled or refunded transactions
- Ensure accurate commission payouts
Only approved commissions will be included in payouts.
Payment Schedule
- Affiliate commissions are paid once per month.
- Payments are typically processed in the middle of the month, usually around the 15th.
- If the 15th falls on a public holiday, payment will be processed on the next business day.
Minimum Payout Threshold
- The minimum payout amount is USD $50.

If your approved commission balance for the previous calendar month is below USD $50, the amount will be
carried forward.

Once the accumulated balance exceeds USD $50, it will be paid in the next payout cycle.
Payment Method
All affiliate commission payments are made via PayPal.
To receive your payment, affiliates must:
- Provide a valid PayPal email address
- Ensure the PayPal account is active and able to receive payments

Affiliate Responsibilities & Prohibited Activities
By participating in the Mariam's Collection affiliate program, you agree to the following terms.
Violations will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all pending commissions.
General Responsibilities
- Providing accurate and up-to-date payment information
- Using only approved affiliate links provided by Mariam's Collection
- Complying with all applicable laws, platform policies, and FTC disclosure requirements
- Clearly labelling all sponsored or affiliate content as such (e.g. #ad, #sponsored)
Advertising & Paid Promotion — Prohibited
- Affiliates may NOT run any paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or any other paid platform) using Mariam's Collection brand keywords, including "Mariam's Collection", "mariam-col.com", or any variations thereof
- Affiliates may NOT bid on our brand name or domain in any search engine advertising campaign
- Affiliates may NOT run retargeting or remarketing campaigns directed at Mariam's Collection website visitors
- Any paid promotion activity requires prior written approval from our team at Affiliate@mariam-col.com before going live
Discount Code Usage — Prohibited
- Your affiliate discount code is for sharing with your genuine audience only
- Affiliates may NOT publish or distribute discount codes on coupon websites, deal aggregator platforms, browser extensions (e.g. Honey, Capital One Shopping), or any public discount-sharing forum
- Affiliates may NOT use their own discount code to purchase for themselves, family members, or friends
- Self-referral orders will be detected and will result in immediate account termination with no commission paid
Content & Brand Representation — Prohibited
- Affiliates may NOT make false or misleading claims about Mariam's Collection products, pricing, or promotions
- Affiliates may NOT use Mariam's Collection branding, logos, or imagery without prior written approval
- Affiliates may NOT create or operate websites, pages, or accounts that impersonate or misrepresent Mariam's Collection
Fraudulent Activity — Strictly Prohibited
The following actions constitute fraud and will result in permanent account termination and legal action where applicable:
- Artificially generating clicks or traffic through bots, scripts, or automated tools
- Cookie stuffing or any technical manipulation of affiliate tracking systems
- Creating fake orders or coordinating purchases solely to generate affiliate commissions
- Any attempt to circumvent, manipulate, or exploit the affiliate tracking or commission system
Consequences of Violation
Mariam's Collection reserves the right to:
- Immediately suspend or permanently terminate your affiliate account without prior notice
- Withhold and permanently forfeit all pending and unpaid commissions upon discovery of a violation
- Recover commissions already paid if fraud or misuse is identified retrospectively
- Report violations to relevant advertising platforms, consumer protection authorities, or legal bodies
